Katie was born and raised in Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for her undergraduate degree. She went to UW Madison for Veterinary School and graduated in 2024. She showed her horse in high school and had many pets throughout her life. Veterinary medicine had always been a goal of hers.

Outside of veterinary medicine Katie loves to bake, kayak with her mom, and spend time with her family, friends and their pets. She has two cats herself named Goblin and Sebastian, but hopes to have more animals in the future!
