Dr. Janice Tan received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of California-Davis, where she furthered her love for all things animals, medicine, and nature. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During her time in vet school, she developed an interest in exotic animal medicine and surgery. 

As a veterinarian, Dr. Tan loves working to improve access to care for all pet owners, as well as advocating for animal health and well-being. 

In her free time, Dr. Tan enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active in the gym and pool, and throwing pottery. She currently does not have any pets at home, but is hoping to acquire a new furry or scaly friend sometime soon!
