About

Anna received her Bachelors of Science in Conservation and Environmental Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

She started her career as a kennel kid at a shelter, continued with extensive training in her roles at HAWS, Small Animal Hospital, Wildlife in Need, and grew into a technician at a local day practice, Bluemound Animal Hospital. After years of teaching, Anna was ready for a new challenge; she began her role as WVRC’s Technician Manager in March 2012, then became the Hospital Services Manager, and is now the Hospital Director.

On what she enjoys most about working at WVRC… “I get to work with some of the most intelligent people in Wisconsin! All of the different personalities keep me on my toes. When I’m having a tough day, I talk to the patients and they normally get me back on track. I consider myself very lucky.”
