Diana Lewis

Dr. Lewis completed her undergraduate in Biochemistry and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin- Madison.

Originally from Illinois, she spent much of her time pursuing wildlife rehabilitation where she fell in love with veterinary medicine and its diversity. During her time in Madison - she was involved in everything from learning to show a horse as part of the agricultural club, to working part time in the ER and Critical care department at the UW Veterinary Teaching Hospital, to working in a research lab for a genetic disorder.

Dr. Lewis was drawn to emergency medicine in seeing the need for both pets and owners to have calm and compassionate voice during often one of the worst days of their lives. She enjoys working with a team to solve complex problems quickly and adjusting treatment plans for each patient and family. She is particularly interested in surgery, endoscopy, ophthalmology, fear free medicine, and wound management.

In her free time Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with her spicy cat Civa (he views her as the spare human), biking, trying new restaurants, reading, and exploring Milwaukee with her husband.
