About

Dr. Kayla Alessandrino attended veterinary school at the University of Glasgow in Scotland and graduated in 2016. She then went on to complete an Emergency Internship at WVRC where she stayed for a few years and worked as an attending emergency veterinarian. She completed her residency at the University of Wisconsin in 2023.

Dr. Alessandrino’s professional interests include sepsis, transfusion medicine, post-operative management and trauma.

In her personal time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, including paddle boarding with her pup, Pippa.
