About

Leah was born in Wisconsin and moved to California when she was 10 years old. She spent the next 31 years there in sunny California. However, life brought Leah back to Wisconsin in March 2021. Other than her first job in the fast-food industry, her entire career has been in the veterinary profession in some way. In high school and college, she worked in several animal hospitals, mostly day practices, but she did work for a brief time at two ER’s. Shortly after college, she accepted a position at a pre-clinical research facility as a Research Associate (the research industry’s version of a veterinary technician) at a medical device company (mostly cardiac devices like pacemakers and implantable cardiac defibrillators). Leah was with that company for 17 years, while the last 13 of those years she managed the facility.
