Nicolette Meaux

Dr. Meaux completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin.

Prior to completing veterinary school, Dr. Meaux was a 'jack of all trades' and worked a variety of jobs including as a veterinary assistant at a general practice, manager at a coffee shop, working in animal care at the Houston Zoo and in distribution for Amish furniture. She has always been involved in art and received a fellowship for the creation of a series of sculptures along with taking part in research investigating Chronic Wasting Disease in White-tailed Deer.

Dr. Meaux enjoys the fast-paced problem-solving aspect of emergency medicine and working to create positive outcomes for both patients and their families in difficult scenarios. She is particularly interested in trauma and feline medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Meaux enjoys spending time with her perfect cats (Michael and Dobby) and crested gecko (Beaker), gardening, hiking, attending local music events, and painting.
