Dr. Alicia Bangert attended Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and received her DVM degree in 2006.  She then was a general practitioner for approximately 5 years before returning to academia to complete a residency.  She completed an internal medicine residency at Oklahoma State University in 2014.  Since that time, she has worked at specialty hospitals in Kansas City and Colorado Springs.  She is excited to join WVRC and be back in the midwest.  

Dr. Bangert enjoys all aspects of internal medicine and truly feels that this was her calling in veterinary medicine.  Her focus is always overall quality of life for her patients even in those cases that can be challenging and complex.

When not at work, Dr. Bangert enjoys woodworking, bird feeding/watching, baking/cooking, gardening, reading, painting/drawing, and spending time with her pets.
