Laura Violetti

With more than 10 years of experience in veterinary emergency and critical care, Laura has built a career rooted in compassion, animal welfare, and a commitment to supporting both patients and the people who care for them. She began her veterinary career as an ER Technician in Montana and has since grown into her current role as Hospital Manager of the Emergency Department at WVRC.

Originally from Italy, Laura studied animal behavior and developed a deep interest in the human-animal bond and the natural world. Her passion for animal behavior also led her to participate in field research in Africa, where she worked with monkeys and gained firsthand experience observing animals in their natural environment.

Today, she brings her clinical background, leadership experience, and genuine love for animals to her work in veterinary emergency medicine. She is passionate about animal welfare and strives to create an environment where patients receive compassionate, high-quality care while veterinary teams feel supported, valued, and empowered to do their best work.

Outside of the hospital, you can find her hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors with her two English Setters and two cats. Her love of animals extends well beyond her professional life, and she considers her own pets an important part of what continues to inspire her every day.
