Dr. Lockie Rathbun was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has always known she was going to be a veterinarian. Dr. Rathbun received both her undergraduate degree in Animal Science and her Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University. As a proud member of the Cowboy family, her interest in veterinary medicine was shaped by a lifelong curiosity about the bonds built between animals and their caregivers and strives to honor that connection with every patient she sees.

During veterinary school, Dr. Rathbun gained experience across a variety of clinical settings, including emergency and specialty medicine, as well as zoo, wildlife, and aquatic animal care. These experiences fostered a special interest in animal husbandry, cooperative care, and integrative medicine.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Dr. Rathbun spending time with her rambunctious rabbit Beignet, going to concerts with her best friends and spending time with her two younger sisters.
