Dr. Lease is a born and raised Wisconsinite who attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where she received a Bachelors in Science. She then went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to obtain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Her passion in veterinary medicine is emergency care, critical care, and companion exotics, especially chinchillas.  Dr. Lease worked overnights at an animal ER during her veterinary schooling, which further cemented her passion for emergency work. She enjoys the pace, diversity of cases, and the ability to be available to help families and their furry members at all hours of the night.      

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Lease enjoys reading, fishing, and antiquing. She collects typewriters and is a self-proclaimed chinchilla aficionado. She enjoys spending time with her family, both human and furred, which includes her cats and many chinchillas.
